My Plan

I will work with the NABIP staff and the Board of Trustees to better embrace the new post-covid and AI filled need for instant gratification and individual desire for advancement and growth and utilize technology to make this need a reality in NABIP.

I will work to develop Grant Writing Team and a Capital Campaign Team and work with Jessica Brooks-Woods and her team to create a marketing and investment tool kit showing what we need to improve and the expected outcome of those improvements. Notable areas where improvement is needed are the BIP magazine, tracking technology NABIP is currently using, technology that equips and enables the state and local chapters, brand awareness, and online presence.

What Will I Do?

I became president elect of Ventura within a year of joining the board, together, my board generated more revenue and more attendance than it had in several years. Within a year and a half of me joining the state board, I became president elect. This amazing team developed relationships with new partners, and we raised more money than in years prior. We held the most successful annual conference the state has had in a very long time, and we won the award for the greatest number of new members. I grew my fledgling benefits company from nothing to 22 employees through a mix of acquisitions and organic growth, I supported, and encouraged, and worked with my team to become the largest single owner benefits agency in Ventura County. I then sold my company and began working with a much larger nationwide company, and within months, was elevated to the position of benefit leader for California, because my amazing team is growth, client, and company focused. I am a growth-minded leader who discovers problems and then finds solutions to those problems. NABIP needs this kind of dynamic leadership, and I can demonstrate it.
